3D ARTIST
ART TEAM | REMOTE
As a 3D Artist at Glinda Games, you’ll work across a wide range of asset types — from environment props and set dressing to vehicles, signage, and occasional character or creature work. Most of our projects are grounded in a realistic, PBR-based style, though we also explore stylised art directions when the project calls for it. You’ll collaborate closely with the Art Director, Technical Art, and Design teams to produce high-quality, performant assets that support gameplay, narrative tone, and clarity. You’ll contribute to visual polish, optimization, and implementation in Unreal Engine, helping bring our games to life with artistic and technical care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Model and texture high-quality 3D assets — including props, vehicles, structures, and modular elements

Translate 2D concept art and visual references into polished, in-game 3D assets

Ensure assets are performant, well-optimized, and aligned with gameplay and visual direction

Collaborate with the Art Director and Tech Art to implement assets in UE5 and support material setup

Work with designers to support layout, flow, and interaction where needed

Contribute to polish passes, lighting tweaks, and bug fixing in later stages of production

Maintain consistency, cleanliness, and performance compliance across assets and scenes
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Have 2–4 years of experience in professional game development or equivalent high quality portfolio work.

Have strong modeling and texturing skills for a variety of asset types
-
Are proficient with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) for asset implementation and testing

Have experience with at least one major 3D modeling tool

Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for texture support and adjustments

Are comfortable interpreting 2D concept art into final 3D assets

Understand performance considerations (LODs, topology, texel density, modularity)

Collaborate well across disciplines and are proactive in solving visual and technical challenges

Are detail-oriented and committed to delivering polished, game-ready work
BONUS POINTS FOR:

Familiarity with Substance Painter, Substance Designer, or Quixel Megascans

Experience with UE5’s advanced features such as Nanite, Lumen, or World Partition

Knowledge of hard-surface modeling, vehicle construction, or destruction workflows
-
Scripting or blueprint experience to support interactivity or in editor tools
-
Cross-functional interest in characters, rigging, materials, or lighting
